The Derwent River area, from Meadowbank to Macquarie Plains, remains under flood warning. However, the immediate threat is from high winds, which have caused significant damage to trees and infrastructure. Roads, especially in areas like Bushy Park to Macquarie Plains, may still be hazardous.

Victoria has suffered widespread damage due to high winds, particularly in regions like Gippsland. Emergency crews are actively clearing roads and restoring power, but many areas remain dangerous due to fallen trees and damaged infrastructure. Residents are advised to avoid travelling where possible and report any hazards to authorities.
