To access the Veterans’ Home Care Program, contact the VHC Assessment Agency on 1300 550 450. In most cases, the assessment and approval process can begin over the phone. The assessor will determine eligibility and the services required under DVA home care.
Eligible veterans and war widows who hold a DVA Gold or White Card and have an accepted service related injury or condition may qualify for veterans home care services. The VHC assessor will confirm eligibility during your assessment.
Some services may attract a small co-payment depending on the service type. Your VHC Care Plan will outline any applicable costs before services commence.
